New York Jets Game
On Sunday, September 11, approximately 400 families of Tuesday’s Children joined together for a once in a lifetime on-field halftime experience. On what was sure to be a solemn evening, Tuesday’s Children were part of an amazing tribute. Family members and Responders formed the two footprints of the 9/11 Memorial using flashlights, while Five for Fighting performed. During the on-field tribute, Tuesday’s Children was recognized as the entire stadium honored the 10th anniversary.
A few families, representing the NYPD, FDNY and PAPD took part in the coin toss with President George W. Bush and were able to meet him before the game.
A special thanks to the Jets organization and the National Football League for supporting Tuesday’s Children.
