“What’s next?” You don’t need to answer this question alone. Our adult programs help you draw strength from others and find a path forward.
When the parents and caregivers are healing, the whole family is healing. Adult programs at Tuesday’s Children ensure a purposeful, hopeful future for families.
We provide surviving family members with opportunities to unite in strength and support. In some cases, it is to find renewed purpose; in others, it is to heal from loss. Our goal is to support the entire family throughout their journey, whatever their needs may be.
If you are a surviving spouse, parent or family member who lost a loved one to military conflict, terrorism or mass violence, Tuesday’s Children provides opportunities for you to grieve, heal and thrive with others who understand. Our supportive communities come together in a variety of settings to best serve your unique needs. (Unmarried partners, adult siblings and adult children of the fallen also would benefit from and be welcome at these programs.)
If you are looking for a new passion or an opportunity to reignite excitement for your current goals, we have programming that supports, empowers, and excites you.
Our programming often involves retreats, or dedicated time, when you interact with others to heal and grow in many ways:
- Mental and physical health
- Self-confidence
- Dignity
- Resilience
By reigniting your strength and well-being, you will be better prepared to care for your family with a renewed sense of hope. Sharing a common bond with others helps all of us move forward. Together you will navigate challenges, discover new resources, and begin the process of healing.
