Daniel Soulas Runs his First Marathon, Raising $3,300 for Tuesday’s Children
Tuesday’s Children extends a huge congratulations to Daniel Soulas, a remarkable member of Team Tuesday’s, for conquering the 2023 Madison Marathon. As a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Danny’s journey took on a special meaning as he ran in memory of his father, Timothy P. Soulas, who tragically lost his life on September 11th, 2001.
Connecting Through Tragedy
Navigating the challenges of grief, Tuesday’s Children has been a source of solace for Danny. It provided him with a unique space to connect with peers who understand the journey of loss. Danny shares, “Tuesday’s Children has allowed me to connect with other kids who have walked in my shoes, creating bonds that wouldn’t have formed otherwise.”
Unforgettable Experiences
Beyond the camaraderie, Tuesday’s Children has given Danny extraordinary opportunities, including being part of the Macy’s Day Parade and attending a Knicks game. These experiences, made possible through the organization, have added meaningful chapters to Danny’s life.
A Proud Moment for Danny
Completing his FIRST marathon is a monumental achievement for Danny. It’s not just about the miles covered but about honoring his father’s memory, fostering connections and demonstrating resilience in the face of adversity.
