9/11 Day of Service with Goldman Sachs
On Saturday, September 8th Tuesday’s Children, in partnership with Goldman Sachs, hosted our largest Day of Service to date! As part of Tuesday’s Children’s Helping Heals initiative and in honor of the 11th anniversary, family members and First Responders were invited to complete over 2,000 services projects and care packages for the Veteran community.
Families and volunteers spent the day assembling packages for the American Widow Project, the Jericho Project, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Operation GoodyBag, Hearts for Hope and holiday packages for 4 troops currently deployed in Afghanistan.
