TUESDAY’S CHILDREN HONORS THOSE LOST IN 9/11
It’s hard to believe that it has been twelve years since September 11, 2001. Millions were affected by the horrific event and thousands lost loved ones. To this day, many are still recovering from those losses, particularly the families and children of victims. Over the past twelve years, Tuesday’s Children has created a community of support rallying around families, bringing them all together.
Tuesday’s Children is a nonprofit organization that was created to support the healing of the families and children of the victims of 9/11, as well as the first responders, and recently those from around the globe who have lost a loved one due to an act of terrorism. Tuesday’s Children was formed to fulfill a promise to see every 9/11 child into productive adulthood, with the belief that the best way to honor the fallen is to invest in their children. The organization was founded in 2001 and while its mission and activities over the years have evolved, it is one of the few remaining charities dedicated to providing programs and services for families and individuals affected by the September 11th terrorist attacks.
In honor of the upcoming anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Havas World Wide committed to help spread the Tuesday’s Children message, by designing the creative and filming of this touching video, reminding us that by raising up the children of the fallen, as a community, we prevail.
