Project COMMON BOND Winter Session 2018
For this year’s Project COMMON BOND Winter session, we welcomed 17 participants representing 9 countries, including the US. It was an inclusive, open group that walked away having learned a great deal about conflict and peace. Workshops were led by our facilitators at George Mason University’s School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution. Academic topics included Basic Principles of Peace and Conflict, Conflict Resolution Skills, and Addressing Conflict through Social Movement. The group also had the opportunity to go into Washington, DC for a trip to the Museum of the American Indian. This year’s program featured a mentoring component, where each facilitator took on between 3-5 participants that they are going to mentor throughout the year.
