Career Shadow Day at the NFL
On Wednesday, April 25th, the National Football League invited Tuesday’s Children to its annual “Take Our Kids to Work Day.” Throughout the event, our young members gained a closer look into the inner-workings of the NFL. From observing the production process of all hand-made NFL footballs, to learning more about the NFL officiating training process, the agenda was full of enriching activities. Our members also received an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall. The day ended with a stop at the NFL’s Play 60 Youth Football Festival, where participants engaged in several athletic football drills with some of the current NFL players and Hall of Fame members.
One of our participants shared, “This was one of the best days ever. I could see myself working here in the offices one day, or hopefully playing on the field! Thanks Tuesday’s Children!”
