Tuesday’s Children Receives $15,000 Grant From The Nature’s Bounty Foundation
Tuesday’s Children, a 501c3 organization, received a generous donation in the amount of $15,000 from The Nature’s Bounty Foundation, the charitable arm of global health and wellness leader, The Nature’s Bounty Co. The donation will support programs and services to assist communities impacted by acts of violence.
Since its formation 18 years ago, Tuesday’s Children has provided long-term healing for those whose lives have been forever changed by terrorism or traumatic loss. What started as a nonprofit serving the 9/11 community has grown into a highly regarded organization both locally and nationally. Thanks to support from companies like The Nature’s Bounty Co., the charity now serves military families of the fallen, local and global communities impacted by traumatic loss, international young adults impacted by terrorism, 9/11 first responders and international peacebuilders.
“Our work is made possible through the support and generosity of partners like The Nature’s Bounty Co.,” said Terry Sears, Executive Director of Tuesday’s Children. “With our organization’s growth comes a greater need for assistance. This donation will ensure that Tuesday’s Children can continue to be there to meet the long-term needs of communities altered by trauma and loss.”
“As a NY-based global company, we are proud to support Tuesday’s Children and the important work the organization does for our first responders and others impacted by terrorism and trauma,” said Beverly Lee-Wo, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at The Nature’s Bounty Co. “We have a shared goal and responsibility for supporting the physical, mental and emotional health of those in the communities where we live, work and do business.”
