Take Our Children to Work Day 2019
Take Our Children to Work Day
In April and May, we hosted our 17th Annual Take Our Children to Work Day program in three cities. From crafting recipes at Blue Apron in New York City to touring the State House in Massachusetts and sitting in on Congressional meetings in Washington, D.C., it was surely a memorable day for all involved!

Take Our Children to Work Day in New York City
We placed 34 children across 17 dynamic workplaces, such as Microsoft, the People’s Inmprov Theater and LEGOLAND. While the children dispersed to their placements for the day, the parents stayed behind at Tradeweb to participate in a Taste of Creative Insight, a workshop based on the Creativity in Business course taught at Stanford University. Additionally, family members participated in Helping Heals by painting Stars of Hope.

Gold Star children received an exclusive tour of the Massachusetts State House and were issued formal citations by state legislators to acknowledge their participation in the program.
Thank you to our incredible partners at Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund and Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund, who helped make this day possible.
