Project COMMON BOND Winter Session 2019
For this year’s Project COMMON BOND Winter session, we welcomed 15 participants representing 6 countries, including the U.S. It was an inclusive, open group that learned a great deal about conflict and peace. Workshops were led by our facilitators at the George Mason School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution and the American University International Peace and Conflict Resolution Program. Academic topics included Basic Principles of Peace and Conflict, Conflict Resolution Skills and Addressing Conflict through Social Movement. The group also had the opportunity to go into Washington, D.C. to walk through the National Mall, starting at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.
