Career preparation begins with a trusted resource that can help you with the next steps.
Our workshops and partnerships help you build the tools and skills you need to apply for college, scholarships, internships, jobs and even military service academies.
Career preparation can be daunting. There are a lot of choices, and having a career mentor can help you make sense of your options. As part of the Tuesday’s Children family, you can benefit from professionals who are committed to helping you find success.
We have built a network of volunteers from various professions who will share their experiences and help you explore career options. More importantly, though, we will help you navigate tasks like:
- Applying to college
- Reviewing a resume
- Preparing for an interview
- Building a career network
- Writing cover letters
- Applying to a military service academy
The best part: no experience is necessary.
It’s ok if you don’t already have a resume; we’ll help you write one. It’s ok if you’ve never had an interview; we’ll help you prepare for one. It’s ok if you don’t know what you want from a career; we’ll help you explore your options. Our services extend to everyone seeking a career adviser, whether you’re a teen getting started in college or the job market, or an adult looking to transition into something different. We’re here to help.
Tuesday’s Children has provided career support and guidance to over 6,000 individuals over the past two decades, and we care about your personal and professional success. Our volunteer professionals come from over a hundred corporate and industry partners and have a vast array of career experiences to share with you. Our goal at Tuesday’s Children is to serve as a trusted partner while you navigate life following the loss of a loved one.
