3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EST
Tuesday’s Children is excited to collaborate with the California State Parks PORTS Program for a series of guided virtual field trips. This virtual adventure will be to Point Lobos State Natural Reserve on Tuesday, July 21 at 3:00 PM EST.
This will be a mellow kayak adventure exploring the reserve’s giant kelp forest. We’ll broadcast live from the Kelp Kayak at Whaler’s Cove on the Pacific Ocean and get an up close look at giant seaweed and animals who depend on this underwater forest for survival. If ocean conditions aren’t safe, the program will be from the beautiful and rare Monterey cypress forest overlooking the kelp in Whalers Cove.
