Tuesday’s Children is excited to collaborate with the California State Parks PORTS Program for a series of guided virtual field trips. This virtual adventure will be to Calaveras Big Trees State Park on Tuesday, July 14 at 3:00 PM EST.
As one of the oldest, and certainly the biggest, trees on Earth, there is no doubt that Giant Sequoia’s fascinating story of survival will delight and inspire. You’ll discover the unique history of these magnificent trees through the lens of conservation, and ultimately what makes these trees such a BIG deal! Bring your curiosity and sense of adventure for this virtual walk through the ancient forest at Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
