Join us for this three-session series for students beginning the college applications and the family members who support them. Each session features industry experts, explores the critical aspects of the college application journey, and how to navigate options to affording a college education.
Session 1: Thursday, October 10 | 6:30-7:30 PM EDT
- The Process: Discover the secrets to finding the perfect college fit, crafting a college admissions strategy, managing critical deadlines, and mastering the intricate application process
- Applications & essays: Review essay topic selection and creating an intentional narrative, showcasing your unique qualities, and other critical pieces of a college application
Session 2: Thursday, October 17 | 6:30-7:30 PM EDT
- The SAT & ACT: Understand the purpose of the exams, what is “test-optional”, learn effective preparation and practice techniques and test-taking strategies
Session 3: Thursday, October 24 | 6:30-7:30 PM EDT
- Financial Resources: This session is dedicated to empowering military service members, veterans, and their families with an understanding of the resources available to them
