Tuesday’s Children will be in San Antonio, Texas February 7-10 for Heart to Heart, bringing military widows together to build lifelong friendships, honor their loss and take steps toward healing.

Come together with other wives of fallen US military service members for support and strength. This program will bring the community together to honor your loss and take steps towards healing. Participants make connections, learn ways to navigate challenges, discover resources that aid in healing and have a “time out” to refresh their minds.

The retreat will include daily facilitated Dignity sessions with two licensed therapists. Each day will include yoga or trail riding to activate physical well-being, while we will also provide quiet experiences like hay rides and mindfulness exercises to bring focus. You can also enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the Medina River. We will have shared meals with food provided by in-house chefs (some cooked over an open fire) and after dinner evening activities and country music.

This is an intimate retreat with a total of 14 participants (each will have a private room). Registration is conducted on a first come, first served basis. This year’s program is currently full. A priority is first-time attendees, if you have attended a previous Heart to Heart retreat, please refrain from registering for this retreat and consider registering for our next Creative Insight Course.

Should you need it, Tuesday’s Children will provide air transportation to/from the San Antonio area as well as transportation to/from San Antonio airport.  There is a non-refundable $50.00 commitment fee. We are thankful for donor contributions for providing lodging, meals, transportation** and materials.

Contact Karen@tuesdayschildren.org or call 212-332-2980 for more information.

*This program is best suited for participants 2+ years post-loss.

**Tuesday’s Children will cover the cost of economy class airplane tickets at the most economical fare.
