We were honored to create and publish Legacy Letters in 2011, which offered over 200 family members the chance to write their own narrative to share with the world on the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
As we approach the 20th anniversary, we are planning another creative and inspirational offering to our shared community. We are working with internationally recognized photographer Richard Wiesel to bring this project to you.
In honor of the 20th anniversary, Richard is creating a photo exhibit where he would like to display portraits of those who lost loved ones on 9/11. This will provide a platform for these individuals to share their story in memory of that loved one.
Our experience is that many family members have found healing in telling their story and shaping their own legacy. It is our hope that you will consider being a part of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to once again share your perspective and story. Your image would be part of a collective that we anticipate will be part of an exhibit and a book. Please CLICK HERE to see the letter from Richard to learn more.

For more information and to share your interest in joining this effort, please contact DeannaB@tuesdayschildren.org
Proceeds from this initiative will be donated back to Tuesday’s Children
While Richard will be in New York for 5 days, this only requires a one hour commitment from each participant
The photos used in the exhibit will be the ones taken by Richard and not ones sent in by family members
Photo prep, such as makeup, is included
