Join Tuesday’s Children in San Antonio, Texas from November 7-10 for our annual Gold Star Moms Retreat.

Come together with other Gold Star Moms of fallen US military service members for support and strength. This program will bring the community together to honor your loss and take steps towards healing. Participants make connections, learn ways to navigate challenges, discover resources that aid in healing and have a “time out” to refresh their minds.

The retreat will include daily facilitated Dignity sessions with two licensed therapists. Each day will include yoga or trail riding to activate physical well-being, while we will also provide quiet experiences like hay rides and mindfulness exercises to bring focus. You can also enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the Medina River. We will have shared meals with food provided by in-house chefs (some cooked over an open fire) and after dinner evening activities and country music.

This is an intimate retreat with a total of 14 participants (each will have a private room). Registration is conducted on a first come, first served basis. This retreat is currently full. Please contact Karen Burris, Karen@tuesdayschildren.org, to be added to the Wait List and to receive information on future retreats.

There is a non-refundable $50.00 commitment fee. We are thankful for donor contributions for providing lodging, meals and materials.

*This program is best suited for participants 2+ years post-loss.
