On September 12th, Tuesday's Children's First Responder Alliance hosted a Comedy Show Luncheon at Applebee's in NYC.
9/11 Responders and their families enjoyed lunch while watching a hilarious comedy show! Saranne Rothberg, of Comedy Cures, spoke about humor having been a cure for her stage IV breast cancer diagnosis and taught some tools and techniques that promote wellness through laughter.
John Larocchia, a retired FDNY firefighter and also a 9/11 Responder, had the crowd rolling as he talked about the humors of being a dad. And then there was Vince Dantona, a ventriloquist, with his puppet George that closed the show with their amazing award winning act. Each comic was family friendly and greeted each and every guest for photos and laughs! Special thanks to Saranne, John and Vince for making the event possible! |
