pat_curranWe need your help in supporting a very worthy cause.  Freedom’s Light is seeking your support of Tuesday’s Children - a non-profit family service organization that has made a long term commitment to every individual impacted by the events of September 11, 2001 and more recently those who have been impacted by terrorist incidents worldwide.  In order to raise awareness to their cause, we have joined the Tuesday’s Children Triathlon Team for the New York City Triathlon and are committing to raise at least $2,500 in support.  Any donation you can make of $25, $50, $100, or more would be greatly appreciated.

About Tuesday’s Children
For the past 10 years, Tuesday’s Children has offered thriving, life changing programs that positively impact the thousands of children who lost a parent on that tragic day.  They also provide services and resources for the heroic responders who gave so much of themselves in the aftermath of 9/11.   Programs include: Family Engagement, Mentoring, Helping Heals Community Service initiatives, Adult Programs, Project Common Bond, Counseling Services and the First Responder Alliance.

About Project COMMON BOND
Project COMMON BOND, the most expansive and fastest growing of Tuesday’s Children’s young adult programs, unites 9/11 teens from the United States with others from countries like Argentina, Ireland, Israel, Palestine, Russia, Spain and Sri Lanka that have lost a family member to an act of terrorism.  Since 2008, Project Common Bond has touched the lives of 225 teenagers from 11 nations.
