Helping Heals 2011 - Bay St. Louis, Mississippi

hhealsYoung people, ages 15 to 21, are invited to participate in a meaningful community service trip to help rebuild a home for a family that was affected by Hurricane Katrina.

The trip includes:
  • A guided tour of Historical Bay St. Louis and Biloxi, Mississippi
  • The opportunity to attend a cultural event
  • A culmination dinner experiencing traditional regional cuisine.
  • Accomodations to the project

When:  February 20-25, 2011

 
Cost: $1,400 includes airfare, accomodations, food and activities
         A deposit of $700 is due December 15th.
 
There are only 15 spots available.

To assist in accomplishing these goals, Tuesday's Children's Helping Heals program is inviting our high school and college students to join us in helping build houses together in partnership with families in need.
 
To date, Habitat for Humanity has built over 300,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1.5 million people in 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter.
