On January 25th, a team from StoryCorps interviewed and recorded Tuesday’s Children staff members as part of their 9/11 initiative.  StoryCorps is the national oral history project that instructs and inspires people to record their stories.  Tuesday’s Children staff, families and friends have participated in StoryCorps interviews, at the StoryBooth at Grand Central Station, and at our offices.  The experience is powerful and profound.

Through the process of sharing stories and experiences, Tuesday’s Children staff and family members have become part of the permanent documentation of 9/11.  The recordings will be archived at the Library of Congress and the World Trade Center Memorial Museum.

If any family member is interested in participating in a StoryCorps interview, please contact Candy Cucharo at 516 562-9000.
