On Tuesday, October 23rd Tuesday’s Children hosted its 1st Annual Fall Classic & Harvest Bash at Wheatley Golf Club in East Williston, New York.  It was a gorgeous Fall day filled with plenty of food, fun and even a little sun! This event, which grossed $30,850, was a great opportunity for Tuesday’s Children to introduce all the great work it does to many new potential supporters. Our golfers were treated to a nice day of golf as well as good food at the Wheatley Golf Club, and foursome winners were awarded gift certificates to the Wheatley Pro Shop.

As the golfers returned in from a hard day on the course, they continued the fun and met their friends for the “Harvest Bash” in the Main Dining Room. The Harvest Bash was a fantastic event and included wonderful food, drinks, and a great Irish rock Band, Fathom, which completed the event.  Everyone is looking forward to continuing this event next year, which we expect to be even bigger and better!

Tuesday’s Children owes a special “thank you” to our wonderful and generous event chairmen George Malhame, Robert Malhame & Jeffrey Mulhall (pictured above), our dedicated event committee, and all of our generous supporters.
